Haha... Ben's friend (who's also named Ben actually... and get this - his son's name is Ben too... jesus) just called here for Ben, but since he wasn't here, the conversation went as follows:
B- So when are you guys flying out?
K- Um, Monday actually.
B- Oooooooooooooooh... yay! (it was more like a noise than any words)
K- haha, yea, I'm really excited
B- Well yea, you're excited to go home, and Ben gets to meet your faaaaaamily...
K- yea, but I don't think he's all that excited about that
B- Well he's a fine, clean-cut young man, I'm sure he'll do well
K- Haha, yea, I'm not to worried about it
B- I mean me, I'll just say whatever comes to my head, but he like, thinks about stuff. He actually thinks about his words before he says anything... he's a good guy!
K- Yea I know what you mean...I know everyone will like him
B- Haha... you done good kid, you done good... ok, bye kate.
K- Ha... bye.
weirdest conversation ever? probably... but you'd really have to know Ben (the phone one, not mine). I just laughed.
