(no subject)
It's about five years too late, but I think I may be officially addicted to Sex and the City? Shhhh. Don't tell anyone. Last night at D'Arcy's birthday celebrations, I kept having to stifle the urge to blab on and on about the seven or so episodes I had watched earlier that day with Lily. Even that didn't really help, as I had at least two conversations about it. Yikes.
Okay, so while I'm being extremely geeky, I will also talk about my love of NTN Trivia in bars. How cool is it that a super exciting night for me involves Whispers, a couple of handheld trivia playing devices, possibly a pitcher of beer, and some good company?
So basically I've been doing a whole lot of lazing around, not so much on the computer. I prefer my lazing to be at the beach -- but rather than semi-icky Ottawa beaches, my "poison" of choice is Meech Lake, or Constance Bay, or Arnprior...and so on and so forth. I wish I could be a professional beach bum. That would be entertaining, and enjoyable. I should cultivate a passion for surfing and become the most super awesome best surfer ever, then I'll just give lessons and live off of that. There, new life plan in a nutshell.
I start working more soon though, so the lazing may be put on hold. However, I have been thinking about something (secret) and very very fun to do later this summer...muahaha...if it works out I will be a happy girl indeed.
I'm just finishing a book called "The True Believer" and the last person who read it had stuck a little newspaper clipping inside, which was relevant to the subject of the book. However, I was quite amused when I turned it over to read the other side and saw an ad for a "Pubic Auction." Teehee. Pubic. Someone missed something there! What exactly would a pubic auction entail...hm...fascinating.
well I felt I had to catch up on my non-updatness as of late, and if you've made it this far...well...well...you're a better man than I!
