Whoo hoo! Long time no update, lol. So for the news! Prepare for a long entry!

To start off, I wanted a more dependable car for college, so I put a nice lil for sale sign in it like 3 weeks ago. I sold it! A girl that lives three houses down from me put a $50 dollar deposit on it, and she is giving me the rest in payments. I am selling it to her for $1050. I also got a check in the mail from my trust fun for $9800 so I can buy a new car.

I am kinda proud of myself. College isn't going to put me like, way in debt so far. Here is my income:
I work for spending money so this is all going to big stuff for like college, cars, maybe a laptop.
$2500 - Michigan Merit Award
$1800 - graduation money
$6000 - Wayne State University Scholar's Day Scholarchip
$50000ish - Trust fund (Though I am spending $9800 of that on a new car.)

Speaking of college, I might not have to buy books. My sister might have the books if they did not come out with a new edition. and my schedule is only 3 classes, and 14 credit hours.

My math class, is going to be readdly easy. I was in calculus last year and because I did poorly on the trig on the placement exam, I am going back to Algebra 2. So I won't have to study alot! Thanks MGM, lmao.

I joined the Emerging Scholars Program for the Math department. Its basically an honors course for math students. So the class is 4 credits and the workshop for it is 2 more. They also have fun picnics and pizza parties and stuff where I can meet new people, and I get to hang out with my sister and her new friends, which is a treat.

My chemistry, I am so not looking foreward to. Its 4 credits, and the lab is only one.

Then I have Understanding and interpreting Fairy Tales as my Philsophy course. That should be exciting. And I am taking that class with my sister, so I think we can study and stuff. This i also the only class I have to buy books for.

Me and my sister are also going to a concert on August 19th. Should be exciting. At Harpos. Ra is playing. There is a small group going. My sisters friend Dayna, and her boyfriend, my sister, Amanda, Jeff, and me.

August 22nd is Old Country Buffets Grand Opening, or "Rededication Ceremony" as they like to call it. Yeah I am a dork for mentioning it. But for some reason, my work is starting to get like, exciting. The people for the most part are nice, the managers are alright when no one is breathing down their necks. And a lot of younger people work there because they pay $7.00 per hour to start.

So I am going to dress as our mascot, the O C Bee, and paint faces, there is going to be this huge party in the parking lot. My friends are supposed to come up and see me be in this large bee costume, and my friend Jeff is actualy voulenteering to be the bee for that day too.

And there is a really nice guy there. I mean, I can tell he kinda likes me, but he is a lil old for me, and he has a daughter. He is 29. But he is just wayyy nice. He always is complementing me and telling me I look beautiful and stuff. We are supposed to go to the movies the next day we have off together.

Then this other guy is all asking me to smoke a doobie with him every day, and I am not really into that, so I always tell him no, then he asks what my GPA was. I tell him, and he says I am a goody two shoes and thats why I won't smoke a doobie with him. Then I tell him I only smoke doobies with my friends, and he tells me I don't have any friends and that I am a looser. He made fun of me like, all day, and then he asked me out. I though he was just making fun of me again, so I kinda laughed at him. Turns out he was serious. Now I feel like poo.

What is it with all these guys asking me out? I mean, I have gotten asked out like, 10 times my whole life because no one really notices me for some reason. Now they are everywhere.

But my manager invited me over to his house, because his neighborhood is having a block party today, lol. My work is actually really cool like that. I like it.

I think I am going to another concert today with Amy and Amanda in Hamtramack (I screwed that spelling didn't I?) Its like really close to Detroit. Which by the way, I am going to school in Detroit, how exciting. They have like everything right on campus almost. My father works very close to campus if something bad were to happen he is right there, they have the Detroit Public library right there, the detroit institute of arts, I think I saw a Planetarium right when I got off the freeway. We should all find time to do these things. I love Art, and space, lmao. I am making myself sound more of a dork.

And Sunday after work is Ruthie's Graduation Partay! That should also be fun. She has a band that is playing, and its always fun to hear new bands and stuff.

So yeah. All in all, I am doing pretty good.
