I think I'm having a nice day :-)
It started yesterday with a journey home from work in a storm. Put an umbrella in my hand and I start dancing through puddles... I blame old movie cliches.
Then I had a lovely chat with my latest man from the dating website. We talked for ages, long past the time that we both should have been asleep. I hope he's as lovely in real life as he is on the phone - will find out on Saturday night when we are meeting up for the first time. If things go well he'll become IDP (Internet Date with Promise, because that's what I keep saying about him). This isn't the new acronym mentioned in my previous post - his is proving much more difficult. It's always the way.
Got woken up repeatedly last night by thunderstorms, strange dreams, and text messages. So much so that I really struggled to stay away throughout the morning routine. Falling asleep while standing up in the shower isn't easy, but I managed it.
A lovely morning at 7am, with everything looking washed clean in pastel shades from the storm the night before. I set my mp3 player to all tracks on shuffle (currently 1770) and it played track 1 (see current music), which always amuses me. What's the first track on your ipod/hybrid?
Other good things - I have a cinnamon and raisin swirly thing for breakfast (although it's taken me 3 hours to eat it), work is back to busy again (with a pile of things to do a mile high on my desk), SSP is back tomorrow and I haven't even missed him, and I just had a lovely email from UMG. See? All good things.
