The One That's Not About The Weather

Last night I went to see a production of Twelfth Night in Russian at work. Not only was it a really fantastic version of the play, with a traditional all male cast and some wonderful jazz accompaniment, but it was also press night so the auditorium was full of celebs.  During the interval I chatted to the front of house crew and gazed dreamily at Joseph Fiennes in casualwear standing a foot away from me. Later I almost didn't recognise Alan Rickman because he looks less like Colonel Brandon these days and a lot like somebody's granddad.

I can't keep up with all my men at the moment.  It never rains but it pours with these acronyms, honestly.  There are potentially two new ones and several existing ones who are still very much around.  SSP and his feelings for me are still confusingly uncertain.  I feel like I've got them all on lines right now, letting one out just to reel another in.  It makes me feel powerful, and more than a little reckless.

I had a customer triumph today after several weeks of moaning: the hire car company who screwed up our weekend in Inverness have given me a £75 refund (which cover the taxi fares we had to pay when the car broke down) and a $65 voucher towards another rental.  So now we can hire a car for a day or two for free so we're trying to decide where we might fancy going with it.  And I am quite chuffed because £75 will be very useful in the battle to stay in the black this month.

pantherebel asked me the other day what acronym I would give myself.  What a good question!  I honestly don't have a clue.  But I did think it would be cool to ask you lot if you have any ideas.  It's either that or make you fill out the boyfriend/girlfriend application meme or, even worse, the friends with benefits meme that I saw at over at silntbob this morning, and both of those are a bit too scary.  So go on - what acronym would you give me and why?

Last but not least, I went for a run today and really loved it.  Check out the willpower :p
