went for a 8.5ish mile bike ride while tim ran today. if i had tried to do this a year ago (well, my doc woudl've killed me since i was still in surgery recovery) - even four months ago - i probably would've found it very strenuous. today, it was just a nice bike ride. it makes the 5th day this month of exercise, not including the canoe paddling ( Read more... )

made it to the gym two days in a row, shedding what the machines believe to be about 650 calories - that should be enough to make up for the [bacon/caramelized onion/apple] stuffing i will consume on thursday - i'll have to go a couple more times to account for gravy and dessert. also, i bought a pair of pants in a smaller size than usual today.
