We try so intensely hard to inform people of laws and regulations that have consequences when they are not adhered to, in the assumption that we can minimize complaints like the one Kishuku has illustrated. Yet, invariably the violators claim ignorance as an excuse for their violation.
Frankly, I really think we should stop trying so hard, if they care, they'll learn it for themselves, and if they don't, they're not worth saving.

It's just annoying since people (other Americans) seem very insistent on challenging my citizenship......
