Interesting, I had breakfast with a friend of mine today, a former Catholic, and we were talking about Marian apparitions. She asked why I thought most Protestants don't believe (or admit they believe in them). I didn't really have an answer but I have pondered that thought many times. I may mention this book to her, because though she's still very much fond of Mary.

Oh, I'd put the work of devout Catholic Joan Carroll Cruz over this book. Ms. Cruz is level headed, with a devotion to Mary that isn't superstitious or soaked in Medjugorge (are those the same thing?). Because this book is all about the Medjugorge. As I said, it was published 15 years ago, before people realized that the apparitions were never going to end.
