This book was a collection of Marian apparitions, most of them modern day. The book is from 1996 so it's somewhat dated; the Third Secret hadn't been opened yet and this makes a difference. While kind of interesting because it has modern visitations I'd never heard of from South America, it deliberately changes language in some of them so as to ignore the more problematic aspects. At LaSalette, where Mary said "I gave people six days to work and kept one for myself", author Connell smooths it over to a non-controversial "God gave people..." She eliminate the weirder aspects such as Julia Kim of the Naju apparition's swelling up in phantom pregnancy and suffering on behalf of the souls of aborted fetuses. Clearly Connell knew when things were either unexplainably bizarre or downright not kosher, but she alters her facts to suit her comfort level. I'm hanging on to this book for my collection, but not recommended.
