Celebrity Duets
Well, Hal Sparks did not make an ass of himself on Celebrity Duets tonight. Given the material and his partners, I'd say he did fairly well. After all nobody can sing Smokey Robinson but Smokey Robinson. And Hal would have been much better off singing 'Heard it Through the Grapevine' with John Fogarty ;) But he did well, and looked damn good doing it. I like the whole flat-haired baby-face thing, but then I'm weird that way.
Also, just a note - it's bad when a show like Celebrity Duets is what prompts you to post. With that in mind, I will comment on a much more worthy show - Vanished. The writers deserve a cookie. Or something. I'm impressed. I might have tuned in because of Gale, but the show itself - the story and the way it's being told - is what has me hooked.
