Disclaimer: Oh look, it's an Ed story! Now go away.
Summary: He lets Tom be his usual slightly asshole-ish self and then, when they're in the apartment alone, Ed will make sure he remembers his place.
Placed
Tom is a brat.
It's not actually a secret that he tends to be kind of a smartass, and usually Ed lets it slide because that's mostly just part of who Tom is. Besides, the thing between them isn't a 24 hour deal, and so Ed's not allowed to call Tom out on that kind of thing in public anyway. Sometimes, though, Ed thinks that maybe Tom does it on purpose to annoy him. He wouldn't put it past Tom, and there's really nothing saying otherwise, but Ed is pretty easy-going so he lets Tom be his usual slightly asshole-ish self and then, when they're in the apartment alone, Ed will make sure he remembers his place.
There's always a struggle before Tom submits himself. The way it happens is always a little different, because sometimes it's physical and sometimes it's psychological, but the principle is always the same: Ed wrestles Tom into submission and Tom lets Ed do it. He puts up a fight, sure, but there's always some point where he could throw Ed off and he never takes it. Ed gives him the openings, gives Tom a way out if he ever feels like he needs it, but Tom never does.
This time they're actually wrestling around in the living room, Tom thrashing and succeeding in getting on top of Ed for a moment before Ed reverses their positions and uses his weight advantage to keep Tom down. Tom struggles some more, but Ed can tell that this is more about testing how much leeway Ed is giving him. In response, Ed grinds down, giving Tom friction and making him give a long, sweet moan.
After that, it's easy to trade his weight advantage for a sexual one, loosening his grip on Tom while grinding down a little more and letting Tom have what he wants. Eventually, Tom doesn't even care about getting away and he's really only caged in by Ed's body. This is the Tom that Ed likes best, the one that doesn't have anything witty to say and is so far removed from his regular self that all he wants and craves and needs is release. The one that only knows how to say things like Ed, please and I belong to you, only says them in an attempt to get what he wants. Ed suspects he realizes that he only gets what Ed feels like giving him and begging doesn't always get him what he wants, but it never stops him from trying.
Ed never stops him from doing it either, because Tom's voice is always beautiful. It doesn't matter if it's singing or just giving out a constant babble of please please please, Tom's voice is beautiful and Ed is always glad to hear it. Sometimes Tom's begging makes Ed take pity on him and give him what he wants, but not this time. This time, Ed eases off of Tom and listens to him give a broken sob as the friction between them ceases. He waits a little, until Tom is arching up against him and trying to find friction again, before he starts grinding down again.
Tom's not expecting it, and he gives a little moan when Ed starts up again. It's the best kind of music, in Ed's opinion, and he brings Tom to the edge again before backing off once more. Tom's almost shaking with it now, constantly begging for release and almost incoherent with want, so Ed takes pity on him and unbuttons his jeans, slipping a hand into his boxers. He gives Tom a few strokes, dry and only slicked by the precome that's leaking from the tip of his cock.
That's all it takes before Tom is crying out and spilling in Ed's hand. When Tom's come down and Ed's wiped off his hand, Ed pulls Tom toward him and stops just short of kissing him.
"Who do you belong to?"
"You."
