I got an acceptance letter just now. For "Labor Day," from Farthing.
Farthing pays the pounds sterling equivalent of five cents a word.
That makes this my first professional sale.

Farthing is a print magazine, and my story will appear in either the second or third issue, although which is yet to be determined. It's only my second print sale. I'll be able to get--buy?--a copy and hold it in my hot little hands. I'll also probably be shamelessly trying to coax everyone I know into buying copies too, just so y'all are forewarned. ;)
