I'm not dead yet!
I survived my first week! (well 4 days..)
Richard is mostly surviving his as well. He still has today.
Currently I will have Friday and Saturday off but that might change next month.
Its really hard work; Japan is the only thing to make me as tired as I've been.
We've been going to bed around 9:30 and I get up about 5:30. the sun isnt starting to come up till I'm at work at 7.
I am not a morning person.
Mostly I've been cleaning cat and bunny cages. restocking food and supples. folding towels. yesterday I cleaned some of the dog kennels.
Had a good amount of scratches (none of which were intentional on the cats part), but yesterday I got bite by a cat, a rabbit, and a rat. the cat was just upset; the rabbit and the rat are evil.
I'm the only one willing to handle a particularly upset cat over the last couple days. I'm pretty proud of myself on that one.
I'm totally in love with a guinea pig. I've never wanted one before but this guy is so sweet and loving. He seems pretty small too. I know I'm going to fall in love a lot. but this guy is really tugging at me. I've spent a lot of time with him, partly hoping he would bite me so I could get over how great he seems but its not working.
Theres also an adorable kitten. I have no idea why she hasnt been moved to the adoption room yet cause she'll go really quick. If I could take her home I would as well, but cats are a bigger commitment and I'm not aloud any more of those.
