What a strange start to a day.
Went out to my car for work today and found that my car was broken into. Apparently, by the world's most inept thief. They didn't take anything, apparently they just rifled through my car for loose change. The glove box was dumped on the passenger seat, and they had raked out the garbage under my seats, but didn't take the stereo (And I had forgotten to take the faceplate off too). They got into the trunk and took a set of road reflectors and my tool box, but left them in front of my car. They left the jack and the jumper cables in my car. It's very weird.
They also didn't break any windows which I am glad for. My driver's door doesn't lock so they wouldn't have to. Good thing that, since the lock broke, I've gotten into the habit of not leaving anything valuable in the car.
