Voy a mexico

I am leaving for Mexico tomorrow and I don't remember the last time I was this nervous for a trip. As almost everyone knows by now, I travel a lot. I'm used to packing for long trips, trips where I don't know when and if I'm going to be back. So a two week trip should have been a piece of cake to pack for, but it turned out not to be the case.
I think it is because I know so little going into this trip about how things are going to go. I don't speak Spanish for one. Secondly our travel plans include a long string of plane, and taxi, and a bus then a taxi again; there's just so much in that scenario that could go wrong. Thirdly this is a climbing trip...I've never packed for one of those before. What if I forgot a vital piece of gear? I don't know the other people going very well either.
But alas, I think I finished packing today and I did some internet research to settle my jitters. Now I just see what comes, use my common sense to get through any problems and enjoy the ride.
It will be amazing to get out of the flat tundra for a while and drink cervezas in the mountains while climbing mulitpitch sport routes.
Ahhhh; time to go to bed,de-stress and dream of climbing in warm locales.
