I have been putting some thought into the job I want to level after blm and whm are done (and I have gone at least part way to my merits

If I came back it would have to be as BRD or NIN... but seeing as I'm not coming back and if I did would be too poor to level NIN... I'd have to say BRD ;P Do it, sing bish!
To be honnest, pulling as BRD is not that scary, hun. I found myself enjoying it lately, pulling IT to chain 10+, trying to find this second that allows you and your PT to get higher chains... It's just good :D
BLU... Yeah, everytime I look at Tilion, I want to level it. Farming the spell just refrains me...
Personally, coming from an all-mage background, I found RNG and NIN particularly interesting. The nature of pulling and tanking was a very nice change of perspective, and provided very different challenges from that of a mage.
Maiev's guide to BLU has also sparked my interest in the subject matter. Unfortunately, the combination of not having subjobs leveled + The D00ns was enough to deter me from that path.
I tried COR. In fact, I leveled up RNG initially as a subjob for COR, but ironically, when the time came to actually play COR, I found myself not liking the job all that much. There are points where COR is good DD and support together, but the 1-minute cooldown on all rolls really, really annoyed me.
I think of all the subs, I am only missing thf, and that is at 27 at the moment, so not a huge difficulty to actually go level those 10 levels.
The learning of spells could get annoying - after a low drop dynamis run, I started trying to learn Pollen (being the logical place to start), 1/12. But was fun - and the str aspect +mp merits could really help me as a blu. It is looking more like that at the moment - that mixture of mage and melee.
