Forgotten most of this, from several nights ago. Fragments:
Involved elements of Girl Genius and Harry Potter. Modern-day setting.
Some big epic good-vs-evil quest stuff going on.
At one point, I was teamed up with Granny Weatherwax (name's from Discworld, though she seemed to be conflated with Gran'ma (Rose) Ben from Bone) on a mission to rescue Agatha Heterodyne, who had been captured by some unknown enemy. Eventually we thought we found her in some industrial warehouse-like setting. Turned out, though, that it was a robotic replica of Agatha (which we verified by slicing her head open to reveal gears!); we'd been set up for a trap. Granny held off something-or-other while I narrowly escaped alone out a closing door.
Later on, amidst a bunch of hub-bub (I think maybe the "resistance" was preparing a big operation) I passed by Hermione on the other side of a chain-link fence. Apparently we had been an item at some time in the past, but now she was going out with Ron. We stopped briefly to exchange greetings and then continued on to whatever urgent tasks we had.

Meanwhile, back in what passes for the real world around here, I've been rearranging action figures and packing them tighter on bookshelves to create space on my desk for a whole set of Konami MMS figures I bought at a ridiculous discount from Jeremy Parish. They have about a bazillion parts and look pretty impressive when assembled, so maybe I'll take some pictures or something later.
