Oh hey, I almost forgot, today is Ada Lovelace Day! The idea is to blog about women in science and technology. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to research any original content right now, but Ada herself is pretty damn awesome, so go read up on her if you're not already familiar. Also, site that reminded me is 2D Goggles, which hosts a smashing comic about Lovelace and Charles Babbage which you should absolutely read because it's wonderful. It's also written by Sydney Padua, a woman who builds giant CG monsters at her day job, so hey, that counts too.
