rainy day
Today is a rainy dreary day. I bathed the dog in the rain. Like being splashed by a shaking dog wasn't enough. At least he doesn't smell so bad now. He still has a faint smell sort of like burnt rubber though. *gag* I feel bad because I yelled at him so bad last night and whacked him once in the butt with the leash cause he wouldn't get in bed.
I so don't feel like doing squat today. I really need to go to the grocery store. I suppose I should get dressed and do that soon. I don't want to though. *wah wah* I have got the clothes put away already at least. I need to mop the whole house because I was going to do it last weekend and then my mop broke. So I didn't have a mop until the end of the weekend when I went and bought a new one.
I hope I get to ride tommorrow again. I had such a nice time last Monday. I actually got to ride two different horses for 30 minutes each last week. I got to ride the bratty little Darby Pony. He is a a Welsh Conemarra cross who they are selling because he can't handle being lead and handled by all the different people. Too bad I don't have 5k laying around or a stall to keep him in. lol. He would be good for backyard lessons or to lease out to one other person. He just needs to have fewer people messing with him all the time. But I rode him bareback and had a blast. The other horse I rode was a Quarter pony (just barely under horse height with QH lines apparently). He came from a summer camp and would be at High Hopes on free lease until the camp he comes from starts back up next summer. He is a sweetie, but underweight and out of shape. He is a "been-there-done-that" sort of horse. He bucked a bit on the right lead canter but I think most of that was because he was out of shape and was objecting to putting out that much effort.
Anyways I have so many other things I *ought* to be doing.
