So, um… is all Wakashi has to say about this; Choutarou simply nods.
Naturally, they go on a date the very next day: Choutarou picks a new horror flick, The Dark Judge - quite wisely, because Wakashi doesn’t watch romance movies with guys - or anybody else, for that matter. He guesses the murderer in less than fifteen minutes and glances sternly at Choutarou; Oh, Hiyoshi-kun, Choutarou greets him, looking almost honestly surprised. Wakashi gives the boy a quick awkward peck somewhere between the eyebrows, then turns away.
The second kiss occurs much later, only when the villain kills his forty-first victim.
