... My parents are looking into Christian schools in the area to send my brother to in the hopes of making him not gay. They've had meetings with his councilor at school which Matt has told me all about.
The brochure for the one had a section explaining that they don't celebrate Halloween because it originated as the worship of Satan. ... So they're conservative AND idiots AND willfully ignorant people who don't bother to do the most basic research into what the hell they're talking about.
Also, MP3 players and cell phones are completely banned cause you can listen to devil rap music on them.
I referred to it as a prison school for which I was frowned upon. *sigh*
