Damn you, car that backfired and woke me up this morning. DDDD:

Going home tonight and there's a yardsale tomorrow. Ohhboy x.x But sitting back will give me time to do my illustration homework, at least.

Homework for the weekend:
+ 3 abstract nature drawings
+ 3 abstract nature paintings (ahahaha drip paintings are GO)
+ 1 illustration - "unsolved mystery", any medium

Other things:
+ Figure out characters in Vermin universe.
+ Possibly audition for Haunted Happenings tour guide
+ Hope that the call for weekend receptionist meeting doesn't happen on saturday. D:
+ Sort out apple-picking weekend details.
+ Do not shoot self when weekend ends and you have to go to life drawing Monday morning.
+ Draw, biatch.

I've been driving myself crazy over my drawing style, as I seem to constantly be in a flux. Lately I've been churning out some pretty good cartoony/indiecomic-ish stuff, and I love it: but mostly because it'd fit my Vermin idea so well (were-pidgeons and were-rats, their society unnoticed by most of NYC, have a sudden uprise of were-hawks and were-crocodiles, and won't put their differences aside to deal with it). I intend to do the character designs in that style, no problems there.

But my other universes are in such a constant revolving door of styles, who the hell knows anymore. It's more annoying to me than anything. Shades-verse is, in my mind, a much more realistic style that I don't have the skills/aren't comfortable enough drawing constantly, yet. My alchemy series is more of an illustrated book, yeah, but I would love realistic drawings for that, too. But my 70's Starsky&Hutch/detective parody between me and my friends? Obnoxious super-cartoony.

I think it just bugs me more than anything. :\ Especially since my drawings tend to fluctuate a liiittle too much from day to day. That, and I'm in illustration classes now and am planning to take a comics course next semester.

OH. OH. AND. RA RA RIOT IS UHMAAAAZINGGGGG. DOWNLOAD AND LISTEN. :D
