Dumb idea: Leaving your packing undone until three/four days before you leave for school.
Dumber idea: Buying Harvest Moon for the Nintendo DS 2 days before you leave, and expect you'll actually get stuff done instead of playing it.
On the other hand, found two survivors of the guppy bake-off. Two tiny babies that must've hid in the rocks. :3 Also taking in a bunch of Corinne's male guppies, for once she leaves.
But! To keep myself vaguely organized for a bit:
-Walk dogs
-Finish laundry
-Stop by Dad's for a day
-Nicole's pre-Birthday party
-Pack like your home has been designated a nuclear testing site
-Organize that box of stuff that I'm really not bringing
-Set up box of tank stuff and chemical directions for parents/Nicole for when I'm gone and we get fish.
-Toss all old books/art supplies that I'm not gonna use in Nicole's room
-Charge cellphone
-Ignore the call of Harvest Moon
-Get in contact with Curious Creatures (surely a homicidal lovebird is a curious enough creature)
-If Curious Creatures fails, search for more parrot rescue shelters
-Survive the Hyperactive Student Welcoming Committee, and smile while doing it
-Do NOT creep roommates out (Bad, Chelsie. Bad.)
