1. I like her. She seems a bit lost at times, but that is probably age and life circumstance related.
2. A lot of authors change viewpoints in their stories. It can make for a richer story because you get both an inside and outside viewpoint. By that I mean your readers see things through a character's mind and that character through the mind of others. It can give more depth to all of your characters.
Your readers only know what you let them.

I know full well my readers only know what I let them. The difference here is that most of you have already seen sides of Salvador that I don't usually show.
