[KinKi Fic] Still

I felt like writing some KKL, and I set off with a tiny morsel of idea intending it to be the usual fluff... but somewhere between my brainstorm-ish writing and songwriting emulation, this is how it turned out. =P

Maybe I'm slow, but I don't get the ~deeper meaning~ at the end. But I like this a lot. The process of songwriting seems really true. I really like the song too. You should write a tune!

Akh that was very brainstorm-ish, I'm not sure if the 'shallower' meaning gets across in the first place? xP The song implies that "love standing still" is sad because it cannot continue (between KK), but Tsuyoshi's interview answer implies that "love standing still" can also mean it is immortalized (say, towards the fans).

Oh goodness, I think this is the embodiment of flangst. > >; Your KinKi always feels so real and I was literally holding my breath when it came to the concert bit. Just like the way the song was meant to leave people hanging and yet 'completed' by Tsuyoshi, there's a satisfying feeling of from reading about the process of songwriting right until its completion. Love it! ;o;

I'm so glad you got that feeling, because I really wanted a happy ending for this and yet it didn't feel right so I couldn't get it there.. and then I made the excuse that the fic was supposed to be 'hanging' just like the song. =||||

I wouldn't consider it an angsty ending in any way because from my point of view, Tsuyoshi's explanation seemed to hint at possibilities. So definitely bittersweet! And speaking of that, did I mention how I fell in love with your one line of summary? :p
