Ka-BOOM!
So earlier today there was thing loud banging sound coming from the Ville. Kind of weird. I wondered if there was some kind of thunderstorm (without the rain or the clouds or all those "essential to a thunderstorm" things).
Nope. It was a cannon. Apparently there's some kind of military historical re-enactment happening this weekend. When I heard that, it was all I could do not to throw all my work out the window and go running into town.
I'm not exaggerating when I say it's my life dream to work at in a historical re-enactment. Williamsburg. Plymouth Plantation. Mystic Seaport. It's kind of like that question in Office Space... what would you do if you had a million dollars? That's what I'd do. I'd sit around in a costume and talk to people about history.
But as for current dreams, I'm dreaming of being done. Which won't happen if I keep lounging around here. So back to my dead Russian authors (almost done, almost done).
