Call That Never Came, First Encounter
Mkay, EVERYONE knows that I've been expecting a call from this company since Thurs. in regards to an internship position they had available...they never did call me back. After calling for like the 4th time since Thurs. and getting sent straight to the answering machine, I gave up...my MOM on the other hand, managed to get the number off of me after I called for the last time, 2 minutes later she called. THE LADY ACTUALLY PICKED UP because the next thing I heard was 'Uh...hello, this is Jennifer's mommy...' *man, I wished right then that a hole would open up and just swallow me* Great impression that probably made for prospective employers...
Anyways, it seems that the lady got my messages and forwarded them to the hiring manager...It seems that I'm SUPPOSED to expect a call from him about the phone interview. So now i'm going to be waiting for a call AGAIN...I hope I get this job.
