It's scary...black, beige and white bugs crawling...all over the night stand, the phone, up and down the cord...and the carpet...and they're LIVING in the PHONE!!! There are COLONIES of them!!! Remember all the bugs in the movie 'A Bug's Life'? Well...there was more here than in that movie! Alissa's roommate Lana's room got infested with them, ( Read more... )

Jeez. All they can do is just spary Raid? What kind of Emergency maintenance is that?!?! Crazy people. I noticed some ant-type looking thing in the kitchen, but it wasn't that many.

They didn't get the emergency maintenance...and there were more of those in Lana's room than in the kitchen

What's up with that? I know girls over here were on a screaming spree when I got back. It was really annoying. I feel so bad for Lana!

Tsk tsk tsk. Thinking dirty thoughts. Bad Jen, bad! Now I feel bad for Ashley since it's in her room today. We can only hope it won't invade Alissa's room. ::crosses fingers::

I wasn't thinking dirty thoughts! they were pretty valid to me :-P YOU did offered...*snickers* Anyways, if it's in Ashley's room then where are Ashley and Lana going to sleep??? Do you think there are any chinese stuff that'll ward off bugs? I know we have some for monsters/ghosts...not sure about bugs...hmmm...

Yeah, whatever. We could try herbal stuff. Ashely and Lana might not like it too much, though. But you're talking about religious stuff. I don't think for religious. Ehh...we could find out.

dude, i think they're at the point where they'll try any other way, religious or not, to get rid of those critters. But yea, incense sticks instead of candles? I'd try to find scrolls that ward off bugs...if they exist...

Incense sticks...good idea! Too bad I'd sit there and just smell all the stuff. Hehehe. Can you get high off incense?

haha, no idea...wanna try? ;-) But yea...i think incense sticks would me MUCH more relaxing...but then it doesn't really leave an open flame for me to accidently get burned on so I guess i'm being kinda biased... :-P

We should try. It'd be awesome! Incense would relax us, but would it scare off the bugs or make more come because it's relaxing? But true on the open flame...yet you still can get burned because the stick is still burning -- just not a massive amount as a candle.

maybe we can find one that's anti-bugs and relaxing at the same time? I'd still prefer incense sticks than candles...haha, I rather have ashes than melted wax...easier to clean off!

They probably don't have anti-bug, now that I think about it. We should come up with something like that!! Incense sticks give off more scent than candles plus the whole open flame thing!

hmm...we should still check to see if they have anti-bug...in Vietnam if you wanna get rid of bugs, have a BIG plastic container of water on the ground...the ants are attracted to it and for some reason they die...*shrugs* weird custom, I saw it work...kinda

Just a plastic container of water? Are you sure it's water and not vinegar or something? How in the world are they attracted to liquid? Very interesting. We should try that. Put a bowl of water somewhere and see if the bugs go to it.

I dunno...I'm pretty sure it was water and I guess the ants in Vietnam are weird? haha
