I went to the Missy Higgins concert at Rod Laver last night. It was a great concert: LOTS of songs from both the first and second albums, some very cute, rather dorky audience interaction; and best of all was the variance on the songs from the album. ... as they say. Just saw the video clip for "Burn My Shadow" by Unkle and instead of paying attention to the music (I don't think I'd even recognise the song if I heard it again), was just mesmerised by Goran Visnjic playing a man with a bomb implanted in his chest, with two minutes to live.

Holy wow. The man is awesome. =D

I'm not the biggest Gwen Stefani fan (in fact, I'm among the smallest ones), but her video for 4 in the Morning is on TV and its melody took me back to 2001 and all the J-pop I own. Which made me wonder how a Gwen Stefani-Utada Hikaru duet would go, because based on this most recent song, they certainly have compatible styles.
