Sleep deprivation, no matter how mild, short-lived or self-inflicted, is not fun.

... I can't wait until these bloody essays are done and I can SLEEP.

Sometimes I think I should take up smoking or something, just so I have a really good excuse to get up when I've got writer's block and go outside for a few minutes to clear my head.

As it stands, I just feel like an idiot and get bored.

sigh.

*gets back to English essay*

But here I am. Essays are in, and I actually got the one that was due at 4 in at 4.

I'm so proud.

So, I'm going to bed. And going to sleep.

Am currently completely unable to think, much less write anything that would make any sense to a tutor/lecturer/marker.

And I have papers due in tomorrow. Argh.

I'm going to walk to the shops, hand in an overdue video, and come back. And then I am going to write.

Day One, and I'm already 1,225 words short of my "average per day" target.

Oh Yay.

Not that that should be my biggest worry right at the moment... I have three essays to finish by Monday, which total about 6,500 words in of themselves, plus 16 minutes of English conversation transcription, of which the mere idea is freaking me out ( Read more... )
