Go on, admit it... You know you have...

Anyone who has ever used google has almost certainly done it.

Googled themselves.

And whenever you have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do, and you're within an arm's span of a computer, what do you do? I normally end up endlessly websurfing, trying to find the phone numbers and addresses of film companies, but today...

I googled myself.

[Holy crap, does that sound wrong!]

And creepily, instead of getting the 5 hits that I used to, there are now hundreds of thousands of websites with my name somewhere in them. Interestingly, a large number of them are in Spanish, Czech, and some other languages I have no idea how to speak or read. And there is a scary proliferation of the question I once asked John August on a film board, which seems to have been copied and pasted to numerous other film boards around, none of which I've ever been to.

And here I'd like to blame Viet, because before he wrote gleefully, "I found your blog!" in the comments section a few months ago, my full name didn't appear anywhere on this blog.

*narrows eyes* nice one, Viet...

But it's okay. It doesn't really matter. I just think it's weird/funny/peculiar. And I wonder what the hell my family would think if they ever saw this thing.

*knocks on wood furiously*

Meh. Should get back to printing off readings. Bleh.

google, randomness, study
