I think I've got it.
I've figured out where all of my stupid wangst and unproductivity is coming from.
I have music-transcribing hanging over my head. I need to do it more than I need to do anything else, and I haven't been trained well AT ALL because the guy that was supposed to be running it was, once again, a lazy asshole all summer and now I've got to go back and tell the council that we accomplished NOTHING and I'm supposed to be the president of this group, and I'm thinking I might just have to reconvene just to tell everyone we're done.
Of course, it didn't help that once he DID start posting stuff for transcribing, all the candidates dropped off the face of the earth. What the hell, band. I'm going to have to give them a stern talking-to when the semester starts. I will probably require that everyone sign up for at least one committee and give minimums for each so people can't just back out on helping to get stuff done.
