Crystal Eye Webcam in Ubuntu
IT'S ALIVE!!!
after weeks of GOOGling, I manages to get the camera working thanks to these links:

after doing the modprobe thingy I added the options to the
/etc/modprobe.d/options
options uvcvideo quirks=2
my system is an ACER 4530 running on ubuntu Intrpid Ibex. It has the built-in Crystal eye webcam.
I will do some recording first and then I'll post them here
