Harry Potter and Princess Tutu
Not that these are in anyway related except I did end up seeing the Harry Potter movie this weekend (today in fact). I didn't hate it per say I think I am used to them messing up. but god could they have at least kept some of the fricking most important scenes of the book? I know you can't include everything but how could they leave out the Sirius mirror scene? That was one of the best scenes in the book, besides the Fred and George scene of course. And what about the whole Neville thing? I mean WTF I just don't understand. I think I could write a better movie adaption then that. The only positive thing is casting was excellent as always. Oh and I loved the initial flight over London. But that is more because I think London is gorgeous
In other news I actually got my one friend to watch Princess Tutu (not that this is a total major accomplishment because she does like Ghibli films). I think she liked it, enough that we watched up to episode 18 in a day. And she was the one who wanted to keep watching. We probably would have finished the series but we wasted our time watching Harry Potter.
Now I hope she finishes it on her own soon so I can see what she thinks of the ending. :D
Edit: Why can't Denno Coil be subbed quicker? :(
