Peter S Beagle at Otakon
Wow I never expected that. I mean what does Peter S Beagle have to do with Asian culture? But Last Unicorn is one of my favorite movies from my childhood so I am not complaining.
Now unfortunately I can't find my copy of Last Unicorn. There is a possibility I don't have it anymore. :(
I have the DVD of the movie but it's not the special edition and I think he wouldn't want to sign it because he doesn't get royalties on it. So hopefully I can pick up the book beforehand. I am not even sure if he is signing stuff but it would be ashame not to have something for him to sign if he was.
Still whether it fits with Otakon or not it is pretty cool. And I actually think he decided to come on his own to promote his stuff. It will be interesting to hear about the new stuff he is working on. :D
Edit: I just found out he was at AX too. So I guess he was hitting the convention circuit for promotional reasons.
