Big Finish 2nd Doctor
The Good News: Big Finish confirmed 4 new 2nd Doctor stories that will be Main Range length so that is 8 hrs of material with Frazer Hines, Wendy Padbury, and Anneke Wills. No story details yet but that's something to look forward to.
The Bad News: These won't be out until Fall of 2015 & Deborah Watling is not confirmed. Also there is a 3rd series of Early Adventures announced for 2016 but I expect it will all be 1st Doctor stories, which means we can probably only expect 2nd Doctor stories every other year.
Don't get me wrong I love the B&W era of Doctor Who in general and I am also really looking forward to the 1st Doctor stories (I even pre-ordered two from the 1st series coming out this fall with Ian/Viki & Steven/Sara Kingdom) but it is going to be hard to only have 4 2nd Doctor stories every other year since as much as I highly enjoy the other Doctors, Two is my favorite & I want more stories with him (and Jamie).
Still thank goodness for Big Finish because without them there may be no 2nd Doctor stories, I am grateful just impatient.
