Star Trek Fanfiction
So in my current obsession over Star Trek:TOS I've been reading some fanfiction. I haven't really gotten into fanfiction since Hogan's Heroes. Although admittedly it's for the same reason I started to read HH fanfiction, the canon doesn't completely satisfy me.
I have to say though that for such a big fandom as Star Trek I am a bit disappointed in the selection of fanfiction. Of course the fandom is very obsessed with Spock/Kirk and slash. I am more into Gen!fanfiction focusing on friendship. And my friendships of choice would be the main trio Kirk/Spock/McCoy but if there is a duo I lean towards Spock/McCoy.
Of course maybe it's just that there is sooo much Star Trek fanfiction out there that it's hard to go through it all. I did find one excellent friendship story about the trio which is almost exactly what I wanted from a star trek story. It had so many great friendship moments.

Still I kind of miss the Hogan's Heroes fandom. It was smaller but there was definitely a lot of quality in the type of stories that were written. And I know she is not in the fandom but I think rose_of_pollux could write the type of Star Trek stories I am looking for.
