Mawaru Penguindrum Episodes 1 & 2
Okay I decided I am going to talk about Penguimdrum every week. I am not going to theorize anything just yet (some of the theories about this series are already pretty crazy). But I want to focus on the visual side of the show So I will highlight a screencap an episode. And since I am behind by a week, this post will have 2.
Episode 1
The house of are 3 main characters (or at least the first ones they are introduced). I love the bright & happy colors used here. This is a pleasant scene but very quickly we learn things are darker then they seem, a contrast to the brightness of the room.
Episode 2
Just a visual gag of one of the penguins spraying a girls shoe with bug repellent. Wouldn't you just love ones of these guys around to get rid of cockroaches for you? XD
Be warned he seems to get stepped on/get lingerie on him a lot. LOL
