Very Rare Films on TCM Tonight
Usually I wait 3 months to see something on TCM. But I only just found out about this today. I would have been so upset at myself if I missed this.
Anyways at 8:00 PM EST TCM is running a special called Fragments which will have footage from what survives of otherwise lost Silent and Early Talking Pictures. This seems to be something completely new as the date is 2011. So perhaps some of these fragments have never been seen on TV. I am not sure. Read More
Then right after at 10:00 PM EST they are airing something called Unseen Cinema. This is from 2006 (although I never saw it). The description given is this: Early examples of avant-garde cinema produced by American filmmakers in the U.S. and Europe. Well it sounds pretty neat too Read More
