24 Hour Classic Marathons

Hope everyone had a nice New Years! I partied on New Years Eve and then spent New Years Day watching the Twilight Zone marathon on the Sci-fi I mean Syfy Channel. A short return to the channels former glory. But I enjoyed watching Twilight Zone so much that what I didn't see in the marathon I looked for on good ol youtube.

My top episodes I watched so far:

Nightmare at 20,000 Feet (with pre- Star Trek William Shatner)
The Invaders
To Serve Man
The Monsters are Due on Maple Street
A Stop at Willoughby (this episode reminds me of Life on Mars)
Time Enough At Last (the ending to this....)

There is also an episode with Ivan Dixon called The Big Tall Wish. I still need to watch that one though.

Today on TCM they are having a 24 hour Our Gang/Little Rascal marathon starting at 8:00 PM for their month dedicated to Hal Roach Studios. Tonight they are showing the real classic stuff too way back to the silent shorts. Next Tuesday there will be a 24 hour marathon of Laurel & Hardy shorts. I won't be able to watch 24 hours of either and it's too much to bother recording but I will watch whatever I can. It's times like this I wish I had a DVR on top of my DVD Recorder but I can't afford the additional monthly cost. Still I am very excited about these marathons and whatever I can catch. :)

Finally I would like to wish A Very Happy Birthday to lt_black_fire

silent film, hogans heroes, classic film
