End of Year Fandom Meme

So I finally saw The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya and absolutely adored it (of course it is my favorite novel). Now this is why I loved this franchise. I also liked that it was cold and everyone was sick (really fit my mood, although I am feeling better)

But that isn't what this post is about:

1. Your main fandom of the year: Really it's ( Read more... )

"Toy Story 3" was indeed a great movie. I grew up watching the first two, so naturally I had to see the newest one.
Plus, whether it's "Hogan's Heroes," "Family Feud,' or "Match Game," Richard is awesome no matter where you see him. That is something I definitely learned this year.

Same Toy Story is definitely one of my top favorite trilogies. All the movies were so good and while it was a bit sad I loved the ending, very bitter sweet.

I love Richard the most on Hogan's & Match Game but he is definitely my favorite by far of the many Family Feud hosts. You can't beat the original. :D

The ending was indeed bittersweet. I did find some parts a little scary though, especially when they realize that they're about to be melted before they're saved.

I actually don't watch the newest edition of "Family Feud" on a regular basis. I prefer watching the classic episodes that feature Richard.

I like that it reminds me of the old fairy tales. :)

On a regular basis I don't either but I've seen episodes of every host here and there. I also grew up with the Comb's version of Feud. But Richard is still definitely my favorite.

I have heard that the classic fairy tales are worse off than the Disney versions that I grew up with. It still grosses me out that in the original "Cinderella," one of the characters cut off her heel in order to fit into the glass slipper. I suppose desperate people will perform desperate actions.

I've actually never seen any episodes of "Family Feud" outside of Richard. My favorite game show growing up was "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" with Regis Philbin.

When I was younger my favorite was probably Price is Right but not so much anymore. I no longer like Bob Barker and Drew's version doesn't interest me.

Right now my favorite is definitely Match Game which is how I became a fan of Richard's in the 1st place and ended up watching Hogan's. I also like his version of Feud and some of the old B&W game shows like What's My Line.

I've seen Price is Right a handful of times, but it never really caught my attention. I don't know if this counts or not, but I'm a big fan of Saturday Night Live. Watching Will Ferrell play Alex Trebek on Celebrity Jeopardy is definitely my second favorite game show.

Ah, it actually started the opposite way for me. I started watching "Hogan's Heroes" first, before I branched off to "Family Feud" and then "Match Game."
