Well I haven't actually watched it yet (waiting for subs) but I read comments on the episode
Apparently they left out Roy's line where he said Ed would not sacrifice himself because he knows what it feels like to be alone and he won't subject Al to that.
And then someone (not me) said of course Bones would leave out that line...LOL. Sometimes I do love this fandom.
I will say though that ending with Hohenheim's death was a nice place to split the last chapter. I approve of that.
edit: I am not sure but it also looks like the first human contact Al has is with Hohenheim not Mei. This is actually a change I approve of because it makes more sense with Al feeling the jolt when Hohenheim touches him and saying "it's warm".
