Now That Is How You Do An Adaption
Wow I am so impressed with Haruhi right now. Studio Bones please take notice this is how you do an adaption. You make it better than the original or at least equal.
This I think is exactly what Kyoani has done with Endless Eight. I thought it was a fun story when I read it in the novels but the fact that I feel I am experiencing what the characters are going through and not just being told a story makes it even more exciting to me.
Although if the series is going to only be 14 episodes I will be a little disappointed in what stories they will have to cut to make Endless Eight longer. I mean I hope they will cut nothing, but I am being realistic here. But in general I am impressed so far Kyoani. I still dislike you overall for your obsession with Moe but at least when you do a series I love you do it justice.
And also I was thinking already what a strong year 2009 is compared to the crappy year that was 2008. In 2009 there is Haruhi, FMA, and Cross Game and I am loving all 3 (although I love FMA because of Arakawa's story not because of Bones idea of an adaption)
Overall 2009 Anime>>>>>>>2008 Anime. Not that there weren't series I enjoyed in 2008 but nothing as strongly as I am enjoying the 3 above series. Probably my favorite last year was Natsume Yuujinchou.
