My last Sarah Jane post in awhile~No Spoilers

Dec 08, 2008 21:04

So the Sarah Jane Adventures finale aired today. I guess that means I will no longer look forward to Monday's at least until next Fall. I am so thankful there is going to be another season of this.

As for the finale it was enjoyable but I did feel it felt a little flat for a finale. The ending was especially a bit rushed. I think Sarah Jane deserved an extended finale like Doctor Who Although it was great to see certain characters again, especially one although I won't spoil it for those of you who still have not watched.

As for the season as a whole overall my two favorite stories were Mark of the Berserker and The Temptation of Sarah Jane. I enjoyed that there was more Sarah Jane/Luke moments (although still not enough for me, what can I say I am greedy when it comes to this relationship). Also I loved that Clyde played a more prominent role this season because he is awesome.

However I will say while I do like Rani I don't like her as much as Maria. Actually I felt the scenes between Rani/her parents were all very well done but something felt missing between Rani/the Sarah Jane Crew. It just seems like she didn't form any special relationships like Maria did with Sarah Jane or Luke did with Clyde. Oh well they have another season to rectify this. And I am absolutely ecstatic about the 3rd season.

Speaking of Sequels Nodame Cantaile 3rd Season Hell Yes With this Sarah Jane Adventures and Natsume Yuujinchou I've been having pretty good luck with sequels lately not so much with licenses though

But what I find amusing about the Nodame Cantabile being announced now is while I have been following the 2nd season weekly since it aired my enthusiasm for Nodame Cantabile has really come back full force just recently. I mean I bought Vol 10-15 of the manga, uploaded a lot of the music onto my IPOD, and just this weekend I watched episodes 7-11 of the live action version again. So it's like the announcement really came at the perfect time or something.

nodame cantabile, sarah jane
