The Lakes, Slayers and More
1) I finished the first series of the Lakes today and liked it quite a bit (well at least the last two episodes when it was more about the boating accident). I thought the ending to the first series was perfect and very powerful (I am a fan of ambiguous open endings) so I am not going to watch the second series. Not to mention I read a little bit about the second series and I am not that interested in the plot line at all.
I could do without all the affairs but at the same time I think it shows that small towns are sort of the worst places. Everyone judges you and yet everyone doesn't look at themselves. Anyways next up North & South.
2) I uploaded a few Life on Mars clips onto youtube because I am a dork and because I wanted to share some clips on my facebook account. I want more people to know of the series even if I don't get them to watch it. So if they see the American Life on Mars at least they will know where it originally came from. :)

I am surprised no one else uploaded this yet. This is one of best scenes in a TV series ever...really!
The wiping the blood off the street scene
I guess this sort of spoils a scene in episode 2, but it isn't a major spoiler. Then again I think the only major spoiler is the last episode.
Backing up on a one way street
3) Hagaren 19 is coming out on March 22nd but I think this is the first time in a long time I can't get it as soon as it comes out. I just can't afford to spend so much on 1 volume of manga now. :(
I guess I'll wait to order volume 19 and 20 at the same time to save on shipping costs. Or maybe if I am lucky I can get them both at Otakon that is if I end up going to Otakon. But the cover has young Hohenheim on it ♥
That being said does anyone know a place to order the Hagaren manga with cheap shipping?
4) Finally I've watched about 10 episodes of Slayers Next and I am really enjoying it. Although I really liked all the characters in the first season of Slayers I have to admit I thought the series was sort of average. But I think Next is really fantastic so far. Maybe it's because Lina, Gourry, Zelgadis, and Amelia are all together for basically the whole show. I also love both Xellos and Martina (I have a thing for villains who are so bad at being evil. XD).
Anyways my OTP is definitely Amelia and Zelgadis (they are so cute). And I don't know why the fandom disliked Amelia I think she is adorable. She might even be my favorite character.
At this rate I am going to end up wanting to buy this too. But I am wating until I finish to make a decision. At least there are cheap boxsets. But gah could Funimation have picked an uglier cover design?
Edit: Oh and before I forget this is an awesome Mononoke MAD
