Delirium has a few favourites. These two girls are part of Dreaming but hers and this pleases her sometimes. Other times she simply enjoys sitting next to his big brother and watching the women.
They are sisters, only not really. They could be - if their worlds were shaped the same but didn’t sometime occupy the same space and time.
The older one is tall, dark, and more than a little crazy. Her favourites are like her - tall, dark, prone to dressing into costumes -and she loves them and breaks them all in the end. But until that moment? She provides them everything they desire and only asks for their life, love, loyalty and other things that start with L. Delirium approves of her.
The younger one is oddly shaped. She is sprawling out into every way and there are no nice dresses to cover the dirt of her body. She plays favourites just as well as her almost elder sister; there are many and all represent a piece of her. She laughs a lot and even her hurts are covered with amusement.
Their favourites are part of Dreaming but they still dream - Delirium asked for the explanation once but got distracted by the fishies before Dream finished the first sentence. Somehow citizens can dream of their Cities even if their Cities - and themselves as well - are only dreams of other people.
The women rarely meet. Sometimes it is a disaster waiting to happen - one of them overpowering the other - but sometimes... sometimes they work together beautifully; mixing gothic darkness and comedic gold.
Delirium watches Gotham who once again plays with her well-worn bat before Delirum’s attention is captured by Ankh-Morpork who pulls out yet another new favourite to pay attention to.
