Sometimes, RP can be useful making you figure out world building stuff when playing with OCs from your novels/stories/what have you. Especially when it comes to non-Earth worlds.

I've been randomly fic'ing random things.

This is a bit of crack for me. At Milliways there's a Mr. Vandemar and Mr. Croup from Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere books. In the books they're a pair of human shaped monsters, in the bar they're trying to be human shaped monsters but kinda are boring and predictable. Not at all worrisome. Which ironically kind of dovetails with the original question, because the time that I actually felt like my characters were acting independently of me, it turned out I was doing some really bad roleplaying and needed to take a break.

I was chatting with people at a Who RP community last night and all of a sudden it hit me. The Doctor and the Master have a child. His name is Jackie. loom_baby He has a TARDIS with a fixed chameleon circuit. And really, that's all I know about him.
