Maybe if I decide not to take part in what's looking to be a half-assed performance, they'll get my point of view a little better.

It would be a little too late for them to get the point after talentfest. If they finally realized that they should be serious about the rest of Happy Dragon/Sad Squirrel's performances because of your absence, it wouldn't really matter because it's probably one of your guys' last gigs together anyway. Your best bet is to just talk to them about it, if they don't get the picture, just have fun with another high school concert. I'm not trying to beg you to play or anything, but try not to be crappy about it, that's the worst way to make a point I think.

I get what you're saying, but the main purpose of me not playing wouldn't be to make a point. It would be because I would rather not play at all than play in a show I thought wasn't up to my standards. When you don't practice, that's what happens.

Kippers...... I realize your frustration over lost work, and for that i'm really sorry. I think that one lost practice isn't the end of the world though. We ARE serious and phyched, but as i see it....with out swender everyone would have been confused. Next practice i'm sure will go much smoother and will be more productive. I'm sorry if we frustrated you, but it's just one practice. We all want it just as much as you. My reality was - with not all instruments here, its a lost cause. It'll be better...i PROMISEEEEEE :) i heart you and i'm really really really really sorry about the work thing, i didn't realize you took the day off. I don't want you to back out. it wouldn't be the same. Please don't be angwee. :D
