"Yukan Club" dominates Drama Grand Prix

The fall 2007 winners of the Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix have been announced. A total of 12,540 ballots were cast, resulting in "Yukan Club" taking 4 of the 5 awards.
It beat "Galileo" for Best Drama by 3,652 votes. It also took Best Actor (Jin Akanishi), Best Supporting Actor (Junnosuke Taguchi), and Best Supporting Actress (Yu Kashii), winning each category by more than a thousand votes.
For Best Actress, Miho Kanno ("Hataraki Man") was #1.
The overall awards for 2007 will be decided in a few months. The nominees in each category include the top five from each season.
I went on a rant but decided against posting it XD Congrats to the winners ;)
Oricon: promising actors for '08

An Oricon survey asked 800 young people, "which actor do you have high expectations for in 2008?" At the top of the list was 19-year-old Yusuke Yamamoto, who gained popularity last year for his role as Kayashima in the drama series "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e."
That drama series also helped boost Masaki Okada (#2 in the survey) and Hiro Mizushima (#5). Meanwhile, Haruma Miura and Takeru Sato ranked 3rd and 4th, respectively.
Hooray for the Hana Kimi boost <3<3 I guess Toma's not considered "promising" anymore since he's already got a protagonist role this season?? I dunno *shrugs*
Koichi Domoto sings for "Sushi Ouji!"

KinKi Kids member Koichi Domoto will sing the theme song for his upcoming movie, "Ginmaku Ban Sushi Ouji! ~New York e Iku~." This is his first time providing music for a film as a solo artist.
The song is titled "No more," and it is said to have an R&B flavor to fit the movie's setting of New York. The single has not yet been given a release date.
Directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi, the film is related to the "Sushi Ouji!" drama series that aired on TV Asahi last summer. It opens on April 19.
I look forward to the song <3<3

In other news, looks like I may be headed to Osaka in the near future to visit family <3 Wakayama too. Maybe Tokyo and Kyoto. Yes, I am a Kansai girl XD

My reasons why:
They are doing something that nobody has really done before. And they're shrouding it all in mystery. And it's ad-lib. I mean honestly--could these men get any more AWESOME?? I so want to see this ;_;
