Weekend Update
Well, my weekend hasn’t gone at all as planned, but it’s still been pretty good. I was supposed to go see lemur_lady this weekend for her birthday, but my damned work schedule pwn3d me, so I was stuck in town. The silver lining was supposed to be hotarugirl visiting, but she’s sick so couldn’t visit anyway. It’s been one thing after another!
Nonetheless, my weekend was good. Work wasn’t as horrible as it has been. It was busy, but not so busy that I couldn’t keep up with things and get caught up by the end of my shift. Saturday night icespark and I had a date night, and it went very well - delicious food, a chance to clear up some lingering stress, and cuddles and Supernatural before bed. Very pleasant.
Today I got to sleep in very, very late, catching up for a week of intermittent insomnia and constant drowsiness. icespark and I went for a decadently late breakfast at 3 PM, and then I was productive goofed off until going over at six to lildomino’s. We went out for yummy Saint Louis Bread Company Panera Bread, and then went back to her house for more productivity goofing off.
It sucks that I didn’t get to see lemur_lady or hotarugirl this weekend, but it was really nice to have a weekend where I didn’t have to drive anywhere, could catch up on sleep, and just spend time relaxing with icespark and lildomino. Tomorrow I have off work since it’s my last week on the Tuesday through Sunday shift, so with luck I can actually get in some productivity before I have to go back to work Tuesday.
